Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, where the streets are paved with hip-hop gold, Kenneth Duncan Jr. (born May 15, 1993) is better known as trap-centric sensation BRS Kash. The trending rapper kickstarted his career in 2020 with a viral hit, "Throat Baby (Go Baby)," which blew up on TikTok. Users of the video-sharing platform were drawn to the catchy, springy, piano-laced bop – released as a single in November 2019 – and in the grand tradition of TikTok, the song spawned a social media dance challenge. Taking BRS Kash's career to stratospheric heights, the earth-shaking success of the "Throat Baby (Go Baby)" remix with DaBaby and City Girls – released in January 2020 and peaking at Number 24 in the US and Top 10 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart – bagged the rapper a deal with Interscope subsidiary Love Renaissance (LVRN) and a debut album, Kash Only, followed in January 2021. BRS Kash, who began singing aged 12, made it to Number 98 with his melody-rich full-length debut, which included standout "Kash App" single with fellow ATL rapper Mulatto.
