Buray

Turkish-Cypriot pop musician Buray Hoşsöz, better known by his stage name Buray, was born in Nicosia on June 15, 1984. His music career began in 2013 when he made a guest contribution to Backyard Jobs' track "So Close". His commercial breakthrough came two years later with the single "İstersen", which also appeared on his debut album 1 Şişe Aşk (2015). The German DJ Alle Farben also released a remix of the song in 2015, which brought Buray further attention. Between the following album releases Sahiden (2016), Kehanet (2018) and Başka Hikayeler (2021), Buray accompanies many Turkish artists such as Haluk Levent, Rober Hatemo, Soner Arıca, Gökhan Tepe, Berksan and İzel at concerts in Cyprus as a guitarist.
