C Duncan

C Duncan is a Scottish indie-rock singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, known for his lush, atmospheric sound that blends elements of dream pop, chamber pop, and folk with subtle electronic touches. Born in Glasgow on 29 July 1989, he first rose to prominence in 2015 with his critically acclaimed debut album, Architect, which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Following Architect, C Duncan released The Midnight Sun (2016), which continued his exploration of lush soundscapes and detailed production, earning him further recognition in the UK indie scene. His 2019 album, Health, marked a departure into more experimental territory, with deeper, more personal themes paired with electronic-driven textures. The LP was shortlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year Award 2019. His next album Alluvium came out on Bella Union in 2022 and It's Only A Love Song followed three years later, also on Bella Union.
