Cam Anthony is an American singer-songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born Camren Anthony Sherman on August 19, 2001, he first rose to fame through a series of viral cover versions on his video-streaming channel. At the age of 12, he was chosen to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" for former US President Barack Obama at the 2014 White House Easter Egg Roll. Following a bidding war between labels, Cam Anthony finally signed with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and spent most of his adolescence working on a project that was eventually shelved. After turning heads with his performance at the 2018 variety show Showtime at the Apollo and relocating to Los Angeles, he severed ties with Aftermath and signed up for the 20th season of the singing reality competition program The Voice in 2021. Coached by Blake Shelton, Cam Anthony went on to win the show by a landslide after offering electrifying renditions of Cynthia Erivo's "Stand Up" and Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive." His official solo debut, "Keep It Between Us," appeared in 2022 and peaked at Number 29 on the Adult R&B Songs chart.
