Clifton George Bailey III, who goes professionally by his childhood nickname Capleton, is a Jamaican singer and DJ. Born in south-eastern Jamaica, he first gained attention when he performed in Canada in 1989. Known for his socially and spiritually conscious lyrics and powerful delivery, he has had a long list of albums since he released 'Real Rough' in 1991. He toured internationally and four of his releases went to number three on Billboard's Reggae Albums Chart: 'Prophecy' (1995), 'I Testament' (1997), 'More Fire' (2000) and 'Still Blazin'' (2002), which was nominated for a Grammy Award as Best Reggae Album. 'Reign of Fire' (2004) peaked at number 12 and 'I-ternal Fire' (2010) reached number eight.
