Hailing from Shepherd’s Bush in west London, Oakley Neil Caesar-Su aka Central Cee (born June 4, 1998) is a British rapper who found fame as a drill artist with his rapid-fire delivery and evocative street imagery. He made his debut in 2017 with the mellow hip-hop track “Over You”, which was followed by the trap single “Transition” and the Latin-tinged “Jugg” with Bambino in 2019. In tune with the British urban scene, Central Cee picked up the pace and pivoted to UK drill in 2020 with the tracks “Molly” and “Day in the Life”, which became his first charting single by reaching Number 44 on the UK charts. “Loading”, his big breakthrough single, arrived in early 2020 and broke into the UK Top 20, spawning an accompanying video that racked up millions of views on the rapper’s video streaming channel. This success put the young artist front and center of the UK drill scene and set the stage for his studio debut Wild West, released in March 2021. The mixtape quickly reached Number 2 in the UK and included Central Cee’s earlier singles, plus the tracks “Pinging (6 Figures)” and “Commitment Issues”, which reached Number 9 on the UK Singles Chart. His second mixtape, 23, landed in February 2022 and shot straight to the top of the UK Albums Chart with its first three singles – "Retail Therapy", "Cold Shoulder" and "Khabib" – all making it into the Top 40. After the release of the EP No More Leaks in 2022 and the collaborative Split Decision, with Dave in 2023, the Number three "Band4Band" with Lil Baby was the first single issued from the artist's first album Can't Rush Greatness (2025), featuring other collaborations with 21 Savage, Lil Durk, Skepta and Young Miko.
