Destined for a singing career from an early age, Cerise Calixte took part in several dance and singing workshops after studying at the École de la comédie musicale (ECM) in Paris. She made her professional debut as a backing vocalist for Laurent Voulzy on his album La Septième Vague (2006), then on television. The young singer then performed in Paris, in the musical Footloose at Théâtre Le Palace, then in Avenue Q, and played understudy in the new production of La Belle et la Bête at Théâtre Mogador. In 2015, she joined the cast of The Wizard of Oz at the Palais des Congrès and starred in Victor Haim's play Subsidized Vampires. Television viewers found her again on The Voice, where she sang the famous song from the film The Snow Queen, "Libérée, délivrée". Now host of the shows Chantons la Reine des neiges and Disney Junior Live on Stage at Disneyland-Paris, Cerise Calixte continues her adventure with the world of Walt Disney by singing one of the main titles from the film Vaiana, la légende du bout du monde, "Le Bleu lumière", ranked in the best-seller list for the end of 2016.
