Chabsy, whose real name is Dylan Saint-Eloi, is a singer-songwriter originally from Martinique. He grew up in the Île-de-France region, between the Val-de-Marne (94) and the 19ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, at the heart of a family environment deeply rooted in music. At a very young age, he developed his artistic sensibility on the benches of music schools. Lulled by Caribbean sounds, he was influenced in particular by his uncle Patrick Saint-Eloi, percussionist with the legendary group Kassav'. This dual culture - between West Indian heritage and urban life in the Paris region - shapes his unique style, blending zouk, kompa, urban pop and R&B. In 2017, Chabsy opened for Black M in Marseille, marking an important milestone in his career. He then continued to make a name for himself through various musical projects and freestyles. From 2022 onwards, he took a resolutely Caribbean turn. He released"Avec le temps" in collaboration with artist Jmax, a track that exceeded 365,000 streams. This was followed by the singles"Seul","Encore" (a duet with Aïna Quach) and"Pour toi", all filmed in Martinique. At the same time, Chabsy stepped up his live performances and went out to meet his public in 2023. In 2024, he kicks off the year with"Amor", a Franco-Portuguese single in collaboration with MC Dy, confirming his desire to build cultural bridges through music. With a rich artistic identity and palpable sincerity, Chabsy is establishing himself as a rising voice of Afro-Caribbean music in France.
