Chae Jung-an

Chae Jung-an, born Jang Jung-an on October 21, 1977, in Busan, South Korea, is a multifaceted entertainer known for her roles as an actress, model, and singer. Graduating from Dongguk University with a major in Theater and Film, She has carved out a significant presence in the entertainment industry since her debut. She first gained recognition in 1995 after winning a major award at a beauty contest sponsored by Johnson's Cosmetics, which led to her modeling career. She ventured into acting with her television debut in 1996 and simultaneously established herself as a CM model appearing in numerous Korean commercials. Her acting prowess became widely recognized after her role in the popular 2007 drama Coffee Prince where she starred alongside Yoon Eun-hye and Gong Yoo. Her music career also flourished when she released the dance track "Letter" in 2000, earning her the title of a "Sexy Star" and significantly boosting her popularity. Over the years, she has transitioned between various management companies, signing with BETTER ENT in 2013 and then with Lucky Company in 2016. Chae Jung-an continues to influence the entertainment industry, with her album "Goddess ... Her Fate"(2001) marking another milestone in her versatile career.
