At the beginning of his career, Cologne-based Michael Müller, alias Charming Horses, was still known under the artist pseudonym M. Miller. As one half of the house and big room duo Bodybangers, he was also responsible for numerous remixes of dance and pop acts such as Stromae, Kate Ryan and Kim Wilde from 2007 onwards. His solo career picked up speed in 2014: With the release of the single "Follow" (feat. Jona Bird), Müller draws attention to himself for the first time as Charming Horses. The producer then achieved his first chart position in 2015 with the track "Sonnenmädchen" (feat. Lizot and Jason Anousheh), which reached number 92 in Germany. A success that the artist was able to surpass the following year: "Killing Me Softly with His Song" (feat. Jano) reached number 79 in the Polish charts. In the same year, he reinterpreted the Steve Winwood track "Higher Love" (feat. Grace Grundy). Charming Horses went on to cause a sensation in the German house and electro scene with a number of single releases. Examples of this include songs such as "Freak On" (feat. Karlyn; 2017), "Peppermint" (2018) and "Back", released in 2019. Also in 2019, the DJ released the EP Charmatic Future in collaboration with Menno, before releasing further tracks in 2020, including "Ain't That Just The Way" (feat. Lutricia McNeal) and "Good Life" (feat. LT).
