Chiaki Matsuda, a university student at Keio University's School of Commerce, is making waves in the entertainment industry as both an artist and an actress. In the spring of 2023, Matsuda achieved recognition as a Top 8 finalist on The Voice Japan aired by TV Tokyo. Her singing videos have accumulated over 3 million views, captivating audiences with her gentle, whisper-like vocals and rich expressiveness, backed by her experience in theater. Matsuda began her musical journey at age five with piano lessons and played the flute and piccolo in her school's wind orchestra during her middle and high school years. She also founded and led a drama club in high school, making it to the national competition in her third year. At university, she led an economics student group and managed projects in the blockchain and NFT sectors, as well as event planning for web3 businesses. Inspired by her success on The Voice she decided to pursue a career in entertainment, starting her music and acting activities in earnest in April 2023. Her release, "Tsuki no Oto" (2024) is highly anticipated, blending her unique vocal talent with her storytelling prowess.
