Chingo Bling, born Pedro Herrera III on August 23, 1979, is a Houston-based rapper, producer, and comedian renowned for his clever fusion of hip-hop and Mexican-American culture. A graduate of Trinity University with a degree in Marketing, he first gained attention with mixtapes like Duro en la Pintura and The Air Chingo Mixtape, leading to his 2004 debut album The Tamale Kingpin, featuring standout tracks like "Walk Like Cleto" and "Colombian Pie" with Mike Jones and Paul Wall. With albums like Running 4 President and They All Want Him But Who Can Afford Him?, he established himself in the hip-hop world, working with artists like Trae tha Truth and N.O.R.E. In 2007, his socially charged album They Can't Deport Us All sparked dialogue while featuring collaborations with Pitbull and Paul Wall. Transitioning into comedy, Chingo Bling leveraged his humor on social media and released his Netflix special They Can't Deport Us All. Over the following years, he continued releasing albums such as Juan Hunna (2015), Dirty Horchata (2016), and El Versace Mariachi (2020), showcasing his ever-evolving artistry.
