Clara Benin (February 19, 1994) is a Filipino singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2017 with her track "Parallel Universe." The daughter of former Side A member Joey Benin, she attended the Philippines' Elements National Music Camp in 2013. A year later, she appeared alongside Mcoy Fundales on the Third Philippine Popular Music Festival, winning the Spinnr People's Choice Award with the track "Kung Akin Ang Langit." Recorded in just three months, her self-produced studio debut Human Eyes saw the light in 2015 and was followed by the Riverchild EP later that year. After a three-year hiatus from her music career, Clara Benin headed back into the studio in 2018 to begin working on a second EP. Preceded by the single "Wrestle," the extended-play I Rose Up Slowly arrived in October 2019 and helped her win Wishclusive Contemporary Folk Performance of the Year at the 5th Wish Music Awards in 2020. That same year, she released a third EP titled Fragments.
