Colapesce Dimartino is an Italian pop duo featuring Sicilian singers Lorenzo Urciullo (also known as "Colapesce") and Antonio Di Martino (also known as "Dimartino"). Colapesce, a Solarino native, began his career with the debut album Un meraviglioso declino in 2012, while Dimartino — a Palermo native — launched his own career as a member of the band Famelika. After collaborating on several occasions, the two vocalist formed a duo in 2020 and released their debut, I mortali, that summer. The album reached Number 3 in Italy, went gold, and was reissued in 2021. The reissued version of I mortali featured a new track, "Musica leggerissima," which won fourth place in the Sanremo Festival that same summer. A massive hit, "Musica leggerissima" reached Number 1 in Italy, where the song was certified five-times platinum. Colapesce Dimartino's second album, La primavera della mia vita, followed in 2023 and featured the song "Splash," which peaked at Number 6 in Italy and went platinum. "Splash" also marked the duo's second entry in the Sanremo Festival, with the song finishing the competition in tenth place and winning the Mia Martini critics' award. Another song from the same album, the electro single "Considera," reached the Italian Top 40 later that summer, climbing to Number 32.
