Coluche

Who doesn't know Michel Colucci, aka Coluche, today? Remembered as the creator of the Restos du Cœur, the man who wrote and performed "Gérard", "Le nouvel Omo", "L'histoire d'un mec", "Misère, misère" and "Le schmilblick", the former presidential candidate in 1981 also dabbled in songwriting, with mixed success. "Always rude, never vulgar", as he liked to call himself, Coluche didn't necessarily contribute to the history of French chanson, but his compositions and, above all, his collaborations with other performers, did result in a few witty, parodic gems.
