Common Saints

Charlie J Perry, professionally known as Common Saints, is a British songwriter, composer, producer, mix engineer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. Operating from his South London studio, since the late 2010s he has crafted a distinctive sound that blends elements of soul, jazz, and pop. His work has garnered international acclaim, notably through collaborations with prominent artists. One of his significant contributions is his collaboration with the South Korean boy band BTS. He co-wrote and produced the track "Singularity," performed by BTS member V. Released in May 2018 as part of the album Love Yourself: Tear, the song received widespread praise for its soulful composition and intricate production. In addition to his collaborative efforts, he has pursued solo projects under the moniker Common Saints. After a string of singles and EPs, including 2020's self-titled debut and 2021's Starchild EP, he released the debut album Cinema 3000 in 2024, which showcases his trademark psychedelic soul sound.
