Born in London, England in 1990, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Cosmo Sheldrake is praised for his innovative sound design that has embraced everything from the didgeridoo to the natural world. He released his first single, "The Moss", in 2014, and followed it with his debut EP. Pelicans We came out in 2015 via Transgressive Records, and a full-length album arrived three years later. The Much Much How How and I laid out Cosmo Sheldrake's quirky aesthetic across 14 tracks of textured folkronica with whimsical titles like "Birth a Basket" and "Wriggle". The following year, he added another string to his bow when The Much Much How How and I track "Come Along" was featured in an advert for Apple's iPhone XR in the US and UK. A second full-length album came in 2020, Wake Up Calls, with the innovative artist – who also performs with bands including Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit and the Gentle Mystics – continuing to use improvisation in his work, which has traversed theatre and cinema as well as recorded music. He released his second EP in 2021, Do, on his own Tardigrade Records.
