Cyril Morin has been composing for television and cinema since 1988. Samsâra in 2003 and La Fiancée Syrienne in 2004 showcase his ability to adapt to the subject matter, using world music. Also a composer of contemporary music, Cyril Morin took a detour into pop for Madonna's album Music, where he collaborated with Mirwais. Cyril Morin received several awards for Little Jerusalem in 2005, and was awarded Best Documentary Score in Israel for Unmistaken Child in 2009. His eclecticism led to his being chosen to score the Canal + blockbuster Borgia in 2011.
