The bad boys from Marseille aren't just rappers, they're also metal fans. Furiously attacking European stages since the early 2000s, power metal quartet Dagoba released their homonymous debut album in 2003, and have been winning over fans and their own idols (such as Metallica and Machine Head, for whom they opened) ever since the release of What Hell Is About in 2006 and Face The Colossus, in 2008. Poseidon (2010) and Post Mortem Nihil Est (2013) cement Dagoba's place in the French metal scene. The band released Tales of the Black Dawn in June 2015. A year later, two of the band's members throw in the towel, guitarist Yves Terzibachian and drummer Franky Constanza. They were quickly replaced by Jean-Laurent Ducroiset and Nicolas Bastos in preparation for the new album, dubbed Black Nova, unveiled in 2017.
