Damián Córdoba

Damián Córdoba, born on April 17, 1987, in San Fernando del Valle, Catamarca, is a prominent Argentine cuarteto and tropical music singer who has become a staple in the genre. His music journey began in 2000 at just 13 years old, performing with the group Los Bingos after Walter Olmos left to pursue a solo career. In 2001, Damián Córdoba joined Olmos on tour, performing as his opening act across Argentina, before launching his own solo career in 2003 with his debut album Como Una Puñalada. This release marked the start of his collaboration with Leader Music. A major turning point came in 2006 when he performed at Córdoba's Super Deportivo Stadium, recording his live album Damián Córdoba En Vivo before 10,000 fans. Over the years, he continued to release a string of successful albums, including Fenómeno (2006), Imparable (2007), Inigualable (2008), and Una Pasión (2010), which featured the hit single "Q' Tal." He earned recognition for his high-energy performances and deep connection with fans, culminating in the prestigious "Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera" award in 2011. More recently, he has released a series of singles, including "Carne y Hueso" (2023) and "Bloqueado" (2024), showcasing his enduring presence in the cuarteto scene and his ability to evolve with the genre.
