Swiss pop singer and songwriter Damian Lynn was born June 30, 1991. After learning piano, guitar, and as a child, and absorbing a wide range of music from his father’s extensive record collection, he made music the focus of his young adult life. His first single, the gentle ballad “Memories”, stood out in a Swiss pop landscape full of uptempo dance friendly tracks. He gigged regularly, and landing prime opening slots for bigger acts before releasing his debut album, 2015’s Count to Ten. His acoustic guitar, danceable beats, and tales of love reminded some of Ed Sheeran, and the LP climbed to Number 12 on the Swiss charts. He took home the award for Best Talent at the 2016 Swiss Music Awards. His 2017 follow-up, Truth Be Told bettered his first LP, topping out at Number 11 powered by the song “When We Do It”. He got an international boost in 2018 when his home country selected his single “Feel the Heat” as its anthem for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The single, “Wait” appeared in 2019, and in July of 2020 he issued the autobiographical single “Blink of an Eye”.
