A singer/songwriter signed to Sub Pop in his early days, Damien Jurado has delivered a steady stream of quality albums, including 1999's Rehearsals for Departure and 2002's I Break Chairs . The "urban folk" singer then moved to Secretly Canadian for a handful of inspired albums, including 2005's On My Way To Absence and 2010's Saint Bartlett. Produced once again by Richard Swift, 2012's Maraqopa stands out as his most accomplished album. Damien Jurado continues to seduce with his airy vocals on Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son in 2014. Visions of Us on the Land follows in 2016 with the same melodic mastery.
