Daniel Licht

Since 1991, composer Daniel Licht has specialized in music for genre films, particularly horror and fright. Prior to that, the Massachusetts native made his name in theater, dance and advertising. By dint of creating macabre and disturbing atmospheres for films often verging on the Z series, such as Hellraiser 4 (1996) and Soul Survivors (2001), Daniel Licht became a true tenor in this style. He rose to fame in the wake of the Dexter series from 2006 onwards. Daniel Licht excels in musically accompanying the tribulations of the disturbing vigilante serial killer. Daniel Licht also uses his talent in video games, as with Silent Hill: Downpour in 2012.
