Dau, whose real name is Dennis Gordon, is a French rapper born in 1996 in Longjumeau, Essonne. He came to public attention in 2023 when he took part in season 2 of the Netflix show Nouvelle École, where he reached the final. Dau began rapping in 2018, developing a style characterized by melodious flow and introspective lyrics. He explores varied musical horizons through two alter egos: "Dennis", immersed in a dark, Gotham-inspired universe, and "Captain Amazing", his antithesis bringing a brighter touch. In 2023, he released his debut album Dennis, followed in April 2024 by États d'âmes, a nine-track project with no featuring.
