David Leonard

David Leonard is an American CCM singer-songwriter and record producer, known for his heartfelt and introspective worship music. Originally from southeast Arkansas, David Leonard's early exposure to ministry came through his father, who became a pastor when he was 15. This laid the foundation for his deep connection to worship music. Before going solo, he was part of the Christian Southern rock band Jackson Waters, and later toured with NEEDTOBREATHE as a keyboardist. In 2009, David Leonard joined forces with Leslie Jordan to form the worship duo All Sons & Daughters, a partnership that produced albums like Season One, Live, and Poets & Saints, all of which resonated with Christian audiences and charted on the US Christian album charts. After All Sons & Daughters disbanded in 2017, David Leonard shifted his focus to producing, co-founding The Creak Music, an independent label and production house. In 2019, he launched his solo career with the release of his debut album The Wait, and in 2022, he released his debut single with Provident Label Group, "Every Hour." The single was included in David Leonard's 2023 full-length Plans, which featured contributions from Katy Nichole and Josh Baldwin. 2024 saw the release of the EP Good Man and the single "God of This Place."
