Born in Kentucky in 1980, American singer Dawn Landes got her start in the clubs of New York, before carving out a reputation as a singer-songwriter with a style that blends folk, country and alternative rock. Following the release of her first studio album, Dawn's Music, in 2005, Dawn Landes gained public recognition with Fireproof, released in 2008, and Sweet Heart Rodeo, in 2009. In 2012, she sang in French on the EP Mal Habillée, followed by the album Bluebird in 2014.
