Deine Freunde

The German band Deine Freunde consists of the musicians Florian Sump, Markus Pauli and Lukas Limschek and was founded in 2012. The music group was initiated by Florian Sump, who works as an educator in a kindergarten and was once the drummer in the pop band Echt. When looking for a name for the band, they wanted to call themselves Rolf Zuckopfnicks, in reference to the famous children's songwriter Rolf Zuchowski. In the end, however, they gave themselves the name Deine Freunde and Rolf Zuchowski founded the label again! for their benefit. The debut album Ausm Häuschen was released in 2012 and two years later Deine Freunde were awarded HANS - The Hamburg Music Prize. In the same year, the second album Heile Welt and the single "Völlig losgelöst" were released. "Völlig losgelöst" is the title song of the movie Der kleine Medicus and partly a cover version of the famous song "Major Tom". Deine Freunde reached number 50 in the German charts in 2015 with the album Kindsköpfe. The music group also contributed the song "Ritterlich" to the film Ritter Trek. This was followed by the albums Keine Märchen 2017 and Helikopter 2019, with which the band reached the top 10 of the charts in Germany. The film song "Auf Tour" for the children's film Cars 3: Evolution was released in 2017. The Christmas album was a great success in 2020. the song "Alles nur geklaut", which was created in collaboration with Die Prinzen, was released in 2021.
