Formed in Melbourne in 2020, Australian alternative rock quartet Delivery is led by bassist and singer Rebecca Allan. Formed during the Covid-19 pandemic with James Lynch, Seamus Whelan, Lisa Rashleigh and Daniel Devlin, the band recorded their first demos in the absence of live performances, and released their first self-produced single "Yes We Do" in June 2021, followed in spring 2022 by the double album "Personal Effects"/"The Topic". affiliated with Australian label Spoilsport and American Feel It Records, Delivery imposed their post-punk revival style on stage and on record with the release of their debut album Forever Giving Handshakes in November 2022, featuring keyboardist and guitarist Sam Harding. The singles from this first album were followed in 2024 by the four tracks of the EP The New Alphabet, which were included on the second album Force Majeure, released in early 2025. More eclectic than its predecessor, Force Majeure was recorded with the original members of the band, which has since evolved with the replacements of Rashleigh, Devlin and Harding by Jordan Oakley and Scarlett Maloney on guitars and Liam Kenny on drums.
