Demonaz is the new project from Immortal guitarist Demonaz Doom Occulta. Harald Naevdal first played in Old Funeral from 1988, before forming Amputation with Abbath Doom Occulta. The two men went on to form Immortal in 1989. Unfortunately, Demonaz Doom Occulta had to stop playing guitar in 1997, due to persistent tendonitis. Demonaz Doom Occulta has since become a lyricist for Immortal, but remains an integral part of the band. Demonaz Doom Occulta reconverted to singer and formed Demonaz in 2010. Still faithful to black metal, Demonaz releases March of the Norse in April 2011.
