This Californian band's psychedelic rock is heavily inspired by the genre's iconic bands from the 60s and 70s in... Cambodia! It's precisely in this part of the world that brothers Zac and Ethan Holtzman find their inspiration, alongside Chhom Nimol, an immigrant singer from Cambodia singing in her native language, and three other musicians. Since their first album, Dengue Feverin 2003, the band has revived oriental psychedelic rock with groove and enthusiasm on acclaimed albums such as Venus OnEarth ( 2008) and Cannibal Courtship (2011).
