Der Ole

Der Ole (born November 30, 1978 in Düsseldorf) is a rock musician from Germany. Born Christian Olejnik, he was long known as the lead singer of the punk rock band Massendefekt. Since 2018, he has dedicated himself to his solo career as Der Ole. Der Ole's debut single "In der Stadt" was released in June 2018. The debut album, In Grund und Boden, followed two months later. In 2020, Der Ole released the album Durch die Zeit. The longplayer climbs to number 35 in the German charts. Der Ole attracts a lot of attention with the album because it features over 100 guest musicians, including Die Toten Hosen, Rainbirds, Ton Steine Scherben, Slime and Betontod. In 2023, Der Ole's third studio album Wir müssen Leben follows. The album makes it to number 52 in the German charts.
