Detonautas Roque Clube are a Brazilian alternative rock band formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1997 by singer-guitarist Tico Santa Cruz, lead guitarist Renato Rocha, drummer Fábio Brasil, rhythm guitarist Rodrigo Netto and bassist Eduardo Simao (who goes by the name Tchello). Sadly, Netto was murdered in a carjacking in Rio de Janeiro in 2006; Tchello left the band in 2013. The current line-up features Cruz, Rocha and Brasil plus DJ Clyeston de Oliveira and guitarist Philippe, who joined in 2006. They released their eponymous debut album in 2002 followed by 'Roque Marciano' (2004) and 'Psichodelamorsexo&distorcao' (2006). 'O Retorno de Saturno' came out in 2008 followed by an EP 'Detonautas Roque Clube' (2012), a two-disc release titled 'A Saga Continua' (2014) and 'VI' (2017). They have released live albums and compilations plus singles such as 'Outro Lugar' (2002), 'O Amanha' (2005), 'Verdades do Mundo' (2008), 'Combate' (2011), 'Acredite no seu Coraçao' (2014) and 'Melhor Plantar o Bern' (2015).
