Di Paullo & Paulino

Di Paullo & Paulino, the Brazilian sertanejo duo from Minas Gerais, began their music journey as young brothers inspired by their father's collection of traditional instruments. Launching their career in the early 1970s by performing at local circuses in Minas Gerais, they quickly gained recognition with consistent album releases and a growing fan base across Brazil. In the 1980s, their popularity soared, especially with the release of hits like "Passarinho do Sertão." Their music continued to resonate in the 1990s with standout albums like Presente de Natal (1990) and Onde Anda Você (1996), and by 2000, their song "Tô Por Aí" became a radio favorite nationwide. As their career evolved, they embraced live albums, releasing Só Modão in 2002, which included popular covers and original hits. The duo's 2018 DVD, Nós e Elas, highlighted collaborations with prominent female artists, including "Estrelinha" with Marília Mendonça, which reached over 100 million views on their channel. Di Paullo & Paulino followed this success with other popular LPs such as Novas Emoções (2020) and Geração Modão (2022).
