Don Felder

Little known as a solo artist, with only one record released under his own name( 1983'sAirborne ), Don Felder is the principal composer of one of rock and pop's best-known songs. The rising arpeggios of Eagles'"Hotel California" are his. In fact, it was Don Felder, who joined Eagles in 1974, who suggested the song to the band in the form of an instrumental dubbed "Mexican Reggae". Selling millions of copies on vinyl, CD or digital, "Hotel California" is one of the fifty most important songs in rock history, according to Rolling Stone magazine. Fired from Eagles in 2001, Don Felder settled accounts with his former bandmates in the 2006 book Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles (1974 - 2001) . Don Felder also sues Eagles Ltd, Don Henley and Glenn Frey. This action was settled out of court in 2007. Surrounded by a host of guests, Don Felder finally returned to music in 2012 with Road to Forever.
