Dutty Dior

Dutty Dior – born Kristoffer Eriemo in Oslo, Norway on November 30, 1996 - was a hip-hop rapper, singer, and songwriter who first came to prominence in 2018 with the single “Plis.” Later that year, he followed it up with the single “Fantasi,” which was a collaboration with fellow Nordic rapper Isah. He released several more singles including 2018’s “MA$A” (with ProllyNah and Unge Ferrari). Dutty Dior also appeared on Unge Ferrari’s album Midt Mellom (2018), which boosted his credibility on the rap scene. His 2019 single “Hallo” (with Isah) became one of the biggest Norwegian hits of the year and was nominated for a Song of the Year award at the Spellemannprisen. He then released “Mascot & Dior” (Remix with Isah and Karpe) before issuing his debut album, BHD, and mixtape Para/Normal, both in 2019. He continued to release singles throughout 2020 as well as the Begge to EP in 2021. Dutty Dior’s second album, Det er mindre ensomt alene, was released in mid-2023. That same year, he followed the album release with the singles “Ringtone” and “Hjertesorg Betaler Regninga.” On April 6, 2024, Dutty Dior was found dead in a recording studio. His cause of death has not been revealed.
