Son of studio musician James LeBlanc, Dylan LeBlanc was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on March 9, 1990. He began to develop his guitar style at an early age and, endowed with a deep voice, recorded his debut album Paupers Field, released by independent label Rough Trade in 2010. He continued in a vein between country-folk, Americana and country-rock on subsequent albums Cast the Same Old Shadow (2012), Cautionary Tale (2016) and Renegade (2019), whose title track appeared in the alternative charts. The Pastimes EP, released in 2021, was followed by the self-produced Coyote album (2023), with an expanded edition released in 2024.
