Ebola is a Thai rock band from Bangkok, formed in 1996 by students from Dhonburi Rajabhat University. The band comprises lead vocalist Kittisak "Aey" Buaphan, lead guitarist Wannit "Golf" Puntarikapa, rhythm guitarist Surapong "Ao" Buaphan, bassist Chaowalit "A" Prasongsin, and drummer Pongpan "Pan" Peonimit. The band initially performed underground and gained recognition for their dynamic live performances. They released their early works, including an EP and two studio albums, independently before partnering with Warner Music Thailand. Their breakthrough came with the release of their third studio album, Pole, in 2004, which coincided with their performances opening for Linkin Park and Slipknot in Thailand. The band achieved significant success with their 2005 album Enlighten, which featured hits like "Saeng Sawang" and earned accolades at the Seed Awards. Over the years, Ebola continued to produce music, releasing albums such as The Way (2007) and Still Alive (2013). In October 2023, Ebola released the single "โง่".
