Eek-A-Mouse

Eek-a-Mouse, whose real name is Ripton Joseph Hylton, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall performer who began recording in 1982. He has released several albums including 'Skidip!' (1982), 'Mouseketeer' (1984), 'Mouse-a-Mania' (1988), 'U-Neek' (1991), 'Black Cowboy' (1996), 'Eeka-Speeka' (2004), 'Live in San Francisco' (2006), 'Eekziled' (2011) and 'Give It to Them' (2016). His best-known singles are 'Wa Do Dem' and 'Ganja Smuggling'. He appears regularly at Jamaica's Reggae Sunsplash Festival and he has collaborated with acts such as Lue Lepki, Satellite and Michigan & Smiley. He performed at venues in Cardiff and Leeds in the UK in 2018 and his 2019 schedule featured appearances at venues in France and the Netherlands.
