El Canto del Loco were a Spanish pop rock band formed in Madrid in 1994 by vocalist Dani Martin and guitarist Iván Ganchegui. Guitarist David Otero, bassist Chema Ruiz and drummer Jandro Velázquez had stints with the band and the line-up featured other musicians until 2010 when the group disbanded. They released their eponymous debut album in 2000 and made several other recordings over the next ten years including 'Estados de Ánimo' (2003), 'Zapatillas' (2005) and 'Personas' (2008). Their 2005 single 'Ya Nada Volvera a Set Como Antes' went to number 37 on Billboard's Latin Pop Songs Chart and 'Un Million de Cicatrices' (2010) peaked at number 19 and number 50 on the Hot Latin Songs Chart. An album titled 'Radio La Colifata Presents El Canto del Loco', with 19 live performances of the band's most popular songs came out along with a DVD in 2009.
