El Haragán y Compañía, one of Mexico’s most influential rock bands, was founded by Luis Álvarez in 1989 in Mexico City. Blending blues rock, hard rock, and rock and roll, the band emerged as a key player in the country’s Rock Nacional scene. Their debut album, Valedores Juveniles (1990), became a cornerstone of Mexican urban rock, featuring hits like "Mi Muñequita Sintética" and "Él No Lo Mató." The band followed up with Rock que se comparte in 1991 and En el corazón no hay nada in 1994, further solidifying their place in Mexican rock history. Over the years, El Haragán y Compañía has released more than ten studio albums, including Toquedkeda (2005), which featured collaborations with notable musicians like Alex Otaola. In 2019, they revisited their classic "Muñequita Sintética" in a new version featuring Rubén Albarrán. The band continues to captivate audiences with their socially conscious lyrics and diverse musical influences. Their performances at major festivals like Vive Latino have solidified their reputation as one of Mexico’s most enduring rock acts, all while remaining fiercely independent and true to their roots.
