E-Lhoy, born Esteban López in Veracruz, Mexico, is a singer-songwriter who transitioned from architecture to music during the COVID-19 pandemic, leveraging social media platforms to gain recognition. His debut single, "Oye Baby," released in 2020, garnered over 10 million views, marking his entry into the music scene. In 2021, he released "Bendita Diabla," a track inspired by a follower's suggestion, blending sensual themes with urban rhythms. Continuing his exploration of urban and pop genres, E-Lhoy released "Mala Virtud" in 2023, showcasing a minimalist aesthetic in its music video. In December 2024, he unveiled his album EROZ, which delves into themes of desire and intense emotions, further establishing his versatility across modern R&B, indie pop, and urban music.
