Eman x Vlooper

Quebec rap duo founded in 2012, formed by Eman and Vlooper, two members of the group Alaclair Ensemble. In August 2012, they release a debut EP called E.M.M.A.N.U.E.L. containing four songs. The band launched their debut album entitled XXL in 2014. It wins the Félix for album of the year at ADISQ in 2015, the GAMIQ award for rap album of the year, and the Musique Urbaine award at the SOCAN gala. The song " Mantra " is the first single from this collaboration and plays on community and university radio stations across Quebec. In the fall of 2014, the duo is on stage with Koariss and Loud Lary Ajust for the Rap Queb Money Tour. They do it again with a 2nd opus in 2017 called La Joie, which they launch at the OUMF festival. Eman x Vlooper win the GAMIQ rap album of the year award in 2018 for the latter. The band tours a number of festivals in 2021, including the Festivoix de Trois-Rivières.
