Eric Land is the stage name of Eric Bezerra Mota Rocha, a Brazilian forró singer from Ceará, Fortaleza, who began his musical journey influenced by his father, a bar musician, and his grandmother, a radio singer. He performed professionally for the first time at 16. In 2019, he gained prominence with the hit "Cidade Inteira," a collaboration with Xand Avião, which has garnered over 53 million views on his channel. Start DELUXE, his debut album, arrived in 2021, followed by the live release Ao Vivo em Fortaleza in 2022. His career further ascended with the release of "Chorei na Vaquejada" featuring Tarcísio do Acordeon, which was featured on his 2023 album Som de Paredão and became one of the most played songs during the São João festivities, reaching the Top 10 on the Brazilian streaming charts. Throughout his career, Eric Land has collaborated with notable artists like Wesley Safadão and Os Barões da Pisadinha, solidifying his status in the contemporary forró scene. In 2024, he dropped the single "Pilantra e Meio," reaching number 23 on the Billboard Brazil chart.
