French pop rock artist Erikel made his mark in 2010 with the album Repartir à Zéro, digitally distributed on Carrefour's download platform.Erikel had previously released the album Le Seuil de Mes Repères in 2004, before signing this unusual contract with the supermarket chain. The relative success of the deal led Erikel to release the single "Frenchy pop rock singer" in a more traditional way in October 2010.
