Etienne de Crecy

Etienne de Crécy is a French house DJ and producer born in Lyon on February 25, 1969. With Super Discount in 1996, Etienne de Crécy made a major contribution to popularizing the French Touch. Based on humor and multiple winks, the album is a delightful play on the lighter side of French electronica. Tempovision in 2000, less conceptual, shows the limits of its author. In 2004, Super Discount 2 failed to repeat the surprise effect of Super Discount. Étienne de Crecy takes stock of his career in 2012 with the compilation My Contribution to the Global Warming. In 2015, the third volume of Super Discount is released. Back in 2025, Etienne de Crecy returns with Warm Up, featuring collaborations with Peter Von Poehl, Alexis Taylor, Frank Leone, Damon Albarn, Olivia Merilhati and Caroline Rose.
