Théo Le Vigoureux, better known by his stage name Fakear, was born on May 13, 1991 in Caen, France. Thanks to his parents, both music teachers, he was immersed in the world of music from an early age. He soon became familiar with the saxophone and guitar. After amateur beginnings in a rock band with high-school friends, the young musician performed solo in 2013 under the name Fakear, which is a pun on the English word "Fake ear". This was followed by four EPs of electronic music, Bird, Pictural, Backstreet and Sonopark , unveiled in 2011, before his first studio album in 2012, Washin' Machine . He returned to the short-form format in 2013 with Morning in Japan and Dark Lands , followed by Sauvage in 2014 and Asakusa the following year. He performed at the Olympia for the first time, then returned in 2016 with a second studio album, Animal, which brought him to the attention of the general public, reaching number 17 on the French best-seller list. He confirms this with the albums All Glows in 2018 and Everything Will Grow Again in 2020. Two years later, he made a comeback with the single "Moonlight Moves ", which featured on the following album, Talisman, unveiled in 2023.
