Farruko

Carlos Efrén Reyes Rosado, known as Farruko, has remained a prominent figure in Latin music since his early successes. Born on May 2, 1991, in Puerto Rico, he rose to fame with his debut El Talento del Bloque in 2010, which peaked at number 6 on Billboard's Latin Rhythm Albums. Farruko continued this momentum with hits like TMPR: The Most Powerful Rookie (2012), which garnered a Latin Grammy nomination, and Farruko Presenta: Los Menores (2014), a chart-topping album that firmly established him in Latin music. In 2021, Farruko released La 167, which included the viral single “Pepas.” This song became a global anthem, blending reggaeton and electronic sounds, topping charts and making La 167 his third album to reach number 1 on Billboard's Latin Albums chart. Following this success, Farruko publicly shared his decision to focus on spirituality and explore themes beyond his earlier work. His musical journey took another step in 2024 with the release of CVRBON VRMOR [C_DE: G_D.O.N.], a project showcasing his evolution as an artist with complex, introspective tracks that touch on personal and social themes.
