Fat Truckers

The Fat Truckers are an electrifying British electroclash group hailing from Sheffield, consisting of Ben Rymer, Mark Hudson, and Ross Orton. Known for their vibrant live performances, they once captivated audiences on tour with Jarvis Cocker, notably wielding light sabres on stage. Their musical journey boasts a discography that includes their 2003 album The First Fat Truckers Album Is for Sale. Their notable singles include "Superbike" and "Teenage Daughter", both released in 2001, and "Anorexic Robot" from 2003. They also contributed to the remix culture with their unique take on Louie Austen and Peaches' track "Grab My Shaft" in 2003. After disbanding in 2004, each member ventured into new creative fields. Ross Orton has engaged in production work alongside Steve Mackey from Pulp and has recently collaborated with artist M.I.A. Ben Rymer continues to influence the music scene as a DJ with Gucci Soundsystem, while Mark Hudson explores his musical talents with his band, Meat for a Dark Day.
