Fatih Erkoç

Fatih Erkoç is a prominent Turkish pop singer, composer, and musician known for his unique voice and contributions to the Turkish music scene. Born on 7 April 1953 in Istanbul, he began his musical career at a young age, showing an early interest in both classical and contemporary music and playing trombone with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra. His powerful vocal range and emotional delivery quickly gained him recognition, and he has become one of the leading figures in Turkish pop music. His professional music career took off in the 1980s, and he rose to fame with a series of hit songs and albums—including his 1987 debut LP and hit song Yol Verin A Dostlar and 1989's "Sen ve Ben"—blending pop with elements of jazz, rock, and traditional Turkish sounds. Throughout his career, he has released numerous successful albums, with several of his tracks becoming anthems of the era. Beyond his solo work, he has collaborated with some of Turkey’s most notable musicians and has made significant contributions to the Turkish music industry as both a performer and a composer. He has continued to release albums into the 2010s and 2020s, including 2016 offering True Love and 2021 single "Afedersin (Çelik Sarkilari)."
