Federico Rossi (February 22, 1994) is an Italian pop singer, mostly recognized as one half of duo Benji & Fede. Born and raised in Modena, he met Benjamin “Benji” Mascolo in 2010 via social media and invited him to work together on a musical project. The pair started uploading material to their video streaming channel and were soon scouted by Warner Music Italy, who offered them a recording contract. Their studio debut 20:05 saw the light in 2015 and quickly obtained platinum certification after selling over 50,000 copies. Produced by Andy Ferrara and Marco Barusso, the album rose to Number 1 in Italy aided by the hit single “Tutta d’un fiato.” In the following years, Rossi and Mascolo stayed atop of the charts with the albums 0+ (2016), Siamo solo Noise (2018), and Good Vibes (2019) before splitting up in early 2020. Federico Rossi then embarked on a solo career, making his official debut in 2021 with the single “Pesche,” a light-hearted love song that peaked at Number 95 on FIMI’s Singles Chart.
